September – November (Spring) - Whale watching in South Africa

 

The Garden Route - a beautiful stretch of coastline stretching up the South-Eastern coast of South Africa - is like stepping into a work of art, rich in colour and beauty, and offers a breathtaking experience of seeing the great Southern Right Whale along the coast.

 

September – October (Spring) – Namaqualand daisies in South Africa

 

The dry and arid West coast of South Africa erupts in flowers in the months of spring. It is a feast for the eyes, and often overlooked by visitors who head straight up the Garden Route.

 

November - April (Summer) – Safari, Golf and Garden Route in Southern Africa

 

November to April is considered peak summer and peak holiday season in South Africa. This is the ideal time to experience both a safari in the bush, as well as the scenic beaches, the impressive Table Mountain in Cape Town, and the many challenging golf courses.

 

May - September (Winter) – Safari, Golf and Culture in Southern Africa

 

Although May to September are considered as winter months in the Southern Hemisphere, it is still perfectly suitable for travel, although the Cape region experiences winter rainfall. However in other parts of the country, it is and excellent time for game viewing, and other outdoor activities such as golf and hiking.

 

July – October - Great Migration in Masai Mara in Kenya

 

Experience one of the world’s most ancient circles of life – the Great Migration. August to October is the ideal time to visit the Masai Mara, after the rains, when the herds of wildlife migrate from the Serengeti in Tanzania to greener plains in the Masai Mara.

 

May – July / October - December - Great Migration in Serengeti in Tanzania

 

In July – August the herds sense the passing of the rains and migrate from the Serengeti towards the Masai Mara. They then return again to the Serengeti in October – December.

Mozambique’s tropical climate welcomes visitors all year round. However from June to August, rainfall and temperatures are at their lowest. Beautiful, private beaches and clear, warm water is the perfect escape all year round.
